It’s a great location for a fish n chips, picnic or bbq on the beach, or you can grab some grub from one of the food shacks along the beach. Highly recommended for watching the sunset with your favourite beer or gin in a tin. Equally beautiful for the day or afternoon with the family or dogs for a beach day. There’s boat hire available too!

There’s a small local ferry that runs from the back beach in Teignmouth to the front beach in shaldon front beach, which makes for a lovely short trip across the river to exploring the other opposite town. Dogs are allowed onboard :)
