Brevard is a nice small mountain town just 10 minutes from our house. It has several great restaurants, the usual fast-food grub and some nice breweries with taprooms. Quite a few waterfalls surround the town with some visible from your vehicle and some requiring a small hike. Downtown has some great shopping with stores that will satisfy all ages. See if you can spot our famous "white squirrels" while you are here!!

Dugan's Pub proudly opened its doors on Main Street March 15, 2003 after two months of hard work by founder and proprietor Timothy Patrick Dugan. Dugan's was a huge success, and with success comes growth. Tim decided to take advantage of a fantastic opportunity to relocate here in the French Broad Place which has been an incredibly positive move for guests and staff.
The pub re-opened on March 10, 2009.
After nine years of success Tim Dugan decided to retire, and on July 29, 2011 previously minority partners Ron and Sharon Gurtler became the proprietors.
From the 150 year-old barn wood and the Notre Dame memorabilia to the authentic Irish dishes and libations, we hope you find the rustic atmosphere true to an Irish pub. Take a look around at our Irish treasures collected over time from visits to Ireland, antique stores, gifts from patrons and friends alike.
