There are lots of fantastic Indian restaurants in Swansea. But I think Vojon is my favourite. It's a little more pricey than others but worth it, in my opinion.

If you fancy walking or biking along the front and down to Mumbles from Uplands house, then I recommend walking up here as your final stop. There are old battlements and it's just a lovely peaceful spot.

The Gower
The Gower was the first place in the UK to be given the official status of "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" in 1956. Please make sure you get a small taste of it during your trip here! These are just a small handful of my favourite beaches but there are lots more.
Some would say that Swansea bay isn't technically the Gower but it's the first beach in a string of around 10 or more. Walking distance from UH and super nice to walk along. The beaches just get better and better to further along the peninsula you go.

I can recommend a lovely circular walk from Cwm Ivy coffee shop down to Whiteford sands and back. About 7miles. Absolutely stunningly gorgeous. Very far around the peninsula, however. So it may be hard to get to without a car.

The city centre is not the prettiest. It was bombed during the war so there aren't any pretty buildings to look at. City centres around the UK have also been in decline since online shopping has grown (A day trip to Cardiff is probably the best place to go if you like to shop!) However there are some hidden gems...
This is the most thriving and successful indoor market in the UK. Go get some Welsh cakes or cockles from here, or just marvel at it's wonder...
