Very, very good breakfast and excellent coffee. Right on the front of Currumbin esplanade. 40 minute walk from the studio or a 6 minute drive (parking can be difficult in summer).

This locals secret gem, Stable cafe at Cornerstone offers a great breakfast and lunch and very good coffee, with a beautiful lawn setting.
Cornerstone has a great variety of high quality shops including a lovely wine and cheese shop (Quince). They also have a yoga and pilates studio on the top floor (Bodymethod).
4 minute drive from the studio (walking is just along the highway, so we recommend driving)

Bathhouse at Ground is a stunning, relaxing place to visit, featuring 4 hot, mineral spas, a mineral plunge pool and a traditional sauna set in a tropical rainforest. It is set in the Eco Village in the beautiful Currumbin Valley, a 12 minute drive from the studio, and offers a cafe (with excellent food), and an organic green grocers. Access to the bathhouse requires booking (online is easiest) and is $35pp/hour. Open Tues-Sun 11am-7pm.

Ancient rainforest, this world heritage listed site offers spectacular views and epic walking tracks. 1.5 hours drive approximately. Do some research before setting off, some are quite long walks. Not for the feint hearted. (there are some family friendly options)

Twin Falls, Purling Brook and Natural Bridge. All within 40-60 minutes drive from the studio and fairly easy walks.

Make sure to take the esplanade walk up to D-Bar (30/40 minutes from Coolangatta Surf Club), see the world-famous Snapper Rocks surf break, and watch the surfers, and the whales in the distance. Watch out for the friendly water dragons (who love posing for photos) and bush turkey's along the path, and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins playing in the surf.
