Garneau, Old Strathcona, and Whyte Avenue are very popular neighbourhoods because of their varied and eclectic shopping, restaurants, farmers market (Saturdays), movie theatres and live theatre venues (our Fringe Festival is one of the best!).
Garneau is one of Edmonton's older neighbourhoods with many historic homes and large beautiful elm trees down the boulevards. We are just a 5 minute walk to the University of Alberta hospital and the rest of our bustling campus a few minutes further away. Enjoy relaxing walks around our neighbourhood or head a few more blocks to the North Saskatchewan River, one of the largest green spaces in Canada.
