it is a small fishing village .... romantic and suggestive. I recommend taking the boatman and going to the sea in Palmaria which is the wild island in front of Portovenere. In Palmaria you can do a nice trekking of the island of about 2 hours and some nice swims. on the way back, stop with a beer to watch the sunset

The Cinque Terre have something magical, for me Corniglia is beauty and sharing moments with friends. Getting lost in the alleyways, swimming in the marina and then stopping to eat and drink a beer at Matteo's bar is worth the trip. Excursion (about 1h and 30) along the coast is to reach Vernazza, another seaside village. It is possible to inquire directly on the park's website for the trails in the area if one is interested
