A not so touristy beach with plenty of seaside restaurants on the expensive side. Sandy beach towards the british miitary base and rocky towards the sea port. If you like rocky and natural sea with plenty of fish to observe, go to the beach near the sea port. If you have children and you want sandy clean beach and no fish, shallow waters, go at the very other end towerds the british military base.

Neighborhoods

The ypsonas area has new luxury flats but also a core of old tiny homes of late medieval times. You can see 2 very old chapels and buy cheap souvlaki. Ypsonas village started with 2 inhabitants in 1900s and now has 15.000 inhabitants so its more than a village, now its a town west of Limassol. If you drive up the dams you will see entire limassol (great views for photography). It has many monasteries, old chapels, and medieval history (Saint Sylas).

I personally love the futuristic design of Trachoni main church. It also has plenty of football fields (no dogs allowed) and you might find the door open and if you have a ball play football. One of the cemeteries and inside the village there are treasures for geocashing enthusiasts. Trachoni on Sunday morning the main church has a typical Orthodox Leitourgy that you can listen from outside if you are parked in the large parking it offers at the back of the church.

Cheap supermarket with all you need for cooking and also cheap ready meals if you visit around 11.00 (at afternoon they may be gone).

A place to visit for a beer or to order food athome if you want (they deliver food). Erimi is an interesting village that has a mosque and a church too. It has many English styled pubs due the military bases of Britain nearby. If alcohol is your thing I guess you will end up drinking your beer there every evening after a swim in Curium or Ladys Mile.
