If you are looking for a quality burger and an IPA then South Gate is the place to go in Oakhurst. For the kids, they have amazing handcrafted root beer. This is one of the more popular spots to go for dinner on the weekend so be prepared for some sort of a wait. But, their sweet potato fries and drinks make it worth the wait.

Their candy is also another reason to visit, every small town has their candy shop but this one is truly special. Make the time to pay them a visit before you leave and pick up a sweet or an Oakhurst souvenir.

I recommend going ice skating then sitting down in their restaurant with some hot chocolate afterwards. In the summer you can learn to fly fish, go river rafting, and enjoy some of their other watersports options.
Millers has great food but they are also a great place to rent a boat or jet ski for the day and play on the lake. You can rent boats for water skiing, boats to just cruise and sunbathe on, and fishing boats. They also offer a discount for multi-day rentals.
