The BEST acai bowls, delicious Kona coffee. My favorite is the Island Latte - it has macadamia nuts and a hint of honey!

A favorite of locals and tourists alike, this Farmer's Market is a short walk from the house and offers organic local produce (if you're lucky, get your hands on the mangos during mango season! They're unreal!) and lots of amazing food trucks. Our fave is the shrimp truck, which is harvested by the owner and grilled right before you!

This place offers amazing plate lunches!! I have friends who now live off the island who ask me to drive straight here from the airport. They are famous for their delectable scones, which they bake every single day. My favorite is the Miso Salmon Salad, which is always grilled to perfection. Others come here for their Ahi Plate Lunch and Kalbi Plate Lunch.

The BEST poke on the island, hands down. So fresh, no-frills, made to order!! We love the Spicy Ahi and if you're in the mood to try something a little different, we recommend the Miso Tako (octopus)

Drinks & Nightlife

A beautiful place to watch the sunset while sipping on a Mai Tai. House Without a Key has nightly hula performances (often by a former Miss Hawaii) and local ukulele band. Listen to Hawaiian music with the golden sunset in the background. This hotel is a stunner - a favorite of celebrities and statesmen alike. Try to get there early, it fills up quickly on the weekends.

Sightseeing

Diamond Head Crater is a volcanic crater that is 300,000 years old. The view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu is breathtaking. The trail takes you up to the top edge of the crater. It's not very lengthy but it can be a bit of a challenge due to the incline. It used to be a post of the US military and is definitely a sight to see.
