Gorgeous hiking with plenty of trails to choose from. Unless you are going early on a weekday morning, don't even try to drive and park at the trailhead! There is a weekend bus that will take you from the Park N Ride in Nederland town. Honestly, we recommend this hike ONLY if you can go on a weekday so you don't feel like you're at Disneyland.

Nederland is a quirky town with a few great coffee shops and restaurants as well as a famous rock shop and your closest amenities (grocery, ace hardware, etc) from the cabin. There are multiple festivals held throughout the year so its always good to check the town website for what might be happening.

Packing for the Colorado Rocky Mountains
In addition to specific needs you may have regarding your planned actives during your stay, we strongly recommend packing the following:
LAYERS(!) - always bring layers to warm up or cool down, we have quickly changing weather here and its good to be prepared with layers: long underwear, sweater, rain/wind jacket, warmer jacket are all items you can want year round depending on weather.
Sun Screen/Cover - the sun is relentless here and burns quickly, be prepared
Slippers/Warm Socks - for around the cabin, you'll be glad to have them, as some of the flooring gets cool
