Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, or Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, is an attractive and well maintained park in Kuala Lumpur with a wide range of facilities and things to do for the whole family. The lake itself, like many of the small lakes in the Klang Valley, was originally created from tin mining activities and has since been nicely cleaned up and landscaped to form the centrepiece of this popular park. Coconut trees and banyans provide shade, while numerous fountains keep the lake water clean and healthy. During my recent visit colourful soft eggs, like pink caviar, were stuck on plants around the water’s edge. These were probably snail’s eggs.

Big-box retailers and access to both international designer labels and local specialty retailers, Pavilion KL is a favorite among KL-ites. At the main entrance of Pavilion KL is the tallest Liuli Crystal fountain in Malaysia, the Pavilion Crystal Fountain. Billed as a national landmark, just like Rome’s Trevi Fountain you can toss in your loose change to make a wish: coins are later donated to charity. Instagram place..

This time because they have the gallery show of My Slang Bank. A lot of areas where you can do ootd ❤️ they also have Ben's Independent Grocer (my fave grocer) where you can do groceries or have your meal there. Coffee place, tealive, and many arts shop and gallery.

place to visit

must-visit in KLCC is the 465 sq. m Aquaria KLCC, which houses over 5,000 freshwater and marine creatures under its roof. Situated on the concourse level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, one of its main attractions is massive glass tank with a 90m walk-through tunnel with a moving travellator in its Centre. You can even get up close and personal with tiger sharks and stingrays by plunging into the tank within the confines of a submerged cage.

KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across. Unquestionably, Lake Symphony is the reason most people frequent the park; it has water fountains that can shoot water up to a height of 42m. These daily water shows occur at noon and in the evenings and are popular with kids. KLCC Park has over 1,900 indigenous trees from 74 species; 40 of these trees were transplanted from the former Selangor Turf Club racecourse, which lies to the southeast of the city.

Taman Eco Rimba KL - This forest, Canopy Walk, hiking trail filled park isn't just flat land in the middle of Kuala Lumpur next to the KL Tower and near KLCC - it's a fairly steep hill with monkeys, goats, raccoons, a number of birds etc. We were very surprised that there was so much to do here, and that we felt like we were in the middle of a jungle right in the center of this big city.

Newly open, the first store in Malaysia. Selling mostly Japanese products although some products are from Korea or China. It has three levels with the top most floor consist of dry stuff where else the other two floors are for food stuff. Here you can literally shop till you drop, cause the store opening hours are rather long from 8.00am to 12 midnight everyday. Amazing! Even longer than most established hypermarkets in Malaysia.

The Royal Selangor Golf Club, established in 1893, has an illustrious history that is associated with the birth and dawn of golf in the S.E.A region. It is the home of golf in Malaysia. The golf courses offer two 18 holes championship layouts and a short 9 holes option. Home to the inaugural Malaysian Open, the historic Old Course, at 6,742 yards and playing to par-72, provides a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green. The New Course at 6,605 yards, par-72 is another fine 18-holes with undulating greens and generous fairway.

Beautiful man made lake , bringing fresh ambience among buildings around this area. There is water fountain also in the middle of lake. Around this lake, few people used to do jogging , especially during weekend. Scenery quite beautiful, releasing stress or pressure from routine office work.

Hosting a lot of hawker stalls and seafood restaurants, Jalan Alor is one of the most famous roads in Kuala Lumpur for food. Located just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang and a short walk away from Changkat Bukit Bintang, it is a favourite after-clubbing dining spot in the Golden Triangle area. We suggest you grab a table somewhere in front of Restoran Dragon View at the top of the street and then walk along and order your dishes from the diverse range of hawkers. We recommend the fried oyster egg from Restoran Wong Ah Wah: a thin and crispy omelette with plump and briny oysters that is served with fresh coriander leaves and accompanied by a chilli sauce that gives it a tangy, spicy kick. Or even the smoky-flavoured satay (marinated chicken tenderloin) from Terminal Sate Zul and grilled chicken wings in a simple soy marinade with chicken rice and roasted barbecue pork from Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish.

Great fine dining option located in the heart of KL. Classic French affaire at very reasonable prices. The 3 course meal comes at below RM200 nett per person while the 5 course meal is priced at RM238 nett and includes a variety of amuse bouche. Food was seasoned well and had interesting techniques used. Service was great as well, each dish was explained in detail and waiters were attentive. You can tell time was taken to train the staff. After dinner, you can head to the bar next door, Deep Blue for a great view of the twin towers and KL tower.

The restaurant is spacious, clean and comfortable. Staffs are very attentive and polite, very welcoming. Cool that they served 2 types of rice, free flow! All the food taste great and authentic, huge portion as well. Love the a la carte Satay, juicy and succulent. Price would higher but definitely worth it.

Yut Kee Restaurant has been serving up traditional Hainanese fare since 1928. It is one of the oldest kopitiam names in KL and is also one of the most popular breakfast places to go to for both locals and tourists. It was previously located along Jalan Dang Wangi (just a right-angled turn from its current premise) in a very old and run-down coffee shop space that had suffered decades of wear and tear. One of the best pork chops I had. Its a must to order the French toast too. To avoid long Q must go early else have to wait very long especially during the weekend.

Nightlife place

Changkat Bukit Bintang has often been likened to London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York City’s Times Square. An avenue on which a large number of KL’s most popular bars and restaurants can be found, it is a trendy place that is great for pub crawling. It is actually located just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang, so it's very easy to get to – particularly if you are staying in the Golden Triangle area. It can get very busy here, especially during the weekends and public holidays. The buildings are unique because they used to be pre-war, colonial shop-houses that were refurbished and turned into upmarket pubs and restaurants – most of which serve western food. A short walk away is Jalan Alor, another famous KL city avenue, well known for its hawker stalls and Chinese seafood restaurants.
