Three Cliffs Bay is scenic, sandy beach, backed by three limestone cliffs is a spectacular shoreline of sand dunes, salt marsh and encrusted with rock pools. With Pennard Pill stream running through the beach and panoramic views from the cliffs, it's one of the most photographed areas in Gower. Stay safe, this is one of our most beautiful beaches, but nature can be wild too - watch out for strong tides and currents at all times. Making the most incredibly creamy vanilla ice cream since 1922. The famous Joe’s Ice Cream parlour is a must visit when in Mumbles. Joe’s story starts in the Abruzzi Mountains in Italy, where he was born and raised until he was old enough to join his father in Swansea. Joe’s father owned a string of coffee shops which sold rich roasted coffee to early morning dock workers. Joe was given ownership of the cafe at 85, St. Helen’s Road. As a passionate ice cream lover, Joe Cascarini sought to add a truly Italian flair to the Welsh cafes, and following a secret recipe from his home in Italy, he sourced the finest ingredients in Wales and introduced to Swansea his unique tasting signature ice cream. Open 7 days a week, times vary during the year.
