Bays/Beaches

All the following bays are organised with beach bars for snacks and drinks, sunbeds and great restaurant choices!
Stafylos is the closest beach from skopelos port, 4,4 km far away and almost 5 minutes by car! During the high season,the parking may be difficult or you may have to walk a little,so as to reach the bay! Also,If you use a bus for your transport, keep in mind that it stops on the road from Skopelos to Glossa, and from there you will have to walk about 500m to get to the beach!

Limnonari is a sandy bay and it is ideal choice,since it combines a unique swimming experience,the comfortness of a beach bar with sunbeds and restaurant choice for lunch or dinner! It is worthy to mention that the beggining of the sea has slippery rocks!So,you suggest you to go at the terminal of the bay,where the place is free of these rocks! We recommend "Apanemo Restaurant" where you will have the opportunity to taste local specialities,one of them "goat with pasta and tomato sauce"!

Milia could be characterized “exotic”, as it has fine pebbles and clear blue-green waters! Around there are infinite pines that are pleasing to the eye and characteristic rocks in the sea. One rock separates the coast in half, with the left side gathering most people, while the right side is more quiet. Stay on till sunset to enjoy the most majestic sunset, that for sure will stay in your memory forever!

Stay on till sunset to enjoy the most majestic sunset, that for sure will stay in your memory forever!
Kastani Bay or Mama Mia Bay,is organized with beach bar and sunbeds!It is an ideal choice for your swimming! We don't suggest the beach from 11:00 to 14:00,because boats are coming from neighbour islands and it is very crowded!

Restaurant recommendations

Skopelos is famous for the traditional cheese pies,filled with goat cheese of a special type of goats,rasing only in our island! The sea food is also special, with "rofos fish" being one of the most wanted! As for the sweets, traditional "loukoumades" or honey balls with cinnamon is worthy to be tasted! Πρωταγωνήστρια φυσικά είναι η ξακουστή Σκοπελίτικη τυρόπιτα,με χειροποίητο φύλλο και ντόπιο τυρί από τις αίγες Σκοπέλου! Τα θαλασσινά έχουν την τιμητική τους,όπως εξάλλου σε κάθε νησί! Μεταξύ αυτών ξεχωρίζει η τοπική σπεσιαλιτέ "Ροφός Στιφάδο"! Όσον αφορά τα γλυκίσματα,ξεχωρίζουν οι παραδοσιακοί λουκουμάδες με μέλι και γλυκά του κουταλιού από κορόμηλα "Αζάν"!
