South River is a lovely, quaint town that has all the essentials you'll need for your stay at our cottage.
Stop by the Freshmart for groceries and South River Brewing Co. for some local beers. There's also a great chip truck in the summer for some quick eats. In the winter stop by the community centre for some free, indoor skating. They also provide complimentary skate rentals!

Visit the Eagle Lake Narrows Country store if you're in a hurry for those essentials. They have everything from pints of Kawartha's ice cream, to firewood logs, to fishing bait.

This provincial park is just 10 minutes away from our cottage. Take a stroll along one of the 4 easy trails or spend a day at the open, shallow, sandy beach.
The park also boasts an 18-hole disc golf course and dog park.

Restoule is arguably one of my favourite provincial parks. Just an hour away, take a hike and enjoy the view along the Fire Tower trail.
Don't forget to stop by Board's Honey Farm along the way there.
