The Flint Farmer's Market is a great place to visit in the summer. Be sure to check out the Flint Mural Project with over 100 murals painted by local and international artists. The Flint Children's Museum is fun for young kids. The Flint Cultural Center includes an art museum, a planetarium, a museum of General Motors and Flint history and more family friendly places to visit including Applewood, the Charles Stewart Mott estate.
Flint offers several places for those interested in local nightlife. In the heart of downtown there are several bars and restaurants to try along historic Saginaw Street.
