Only a 5 min drive from the house. Both adults and kids will love it here. Grab your morning coffee or stay for breakfast or lunch. This working farm allows its visitors to wander the grounds. Kids are welcome to crack macadamia nuts on the farm, relax in the hammock, feed the gigantic pigs and pick and cut your own sunflower ($4/stem).

Small but so worthwhile! The country views from the balcony are the best I've seen! The café serves up great food, the art is interesting and kids are always welcome! Entry is free but book online before going due to COVID restrictions.

15mins drive north, this is an easy walk for the entire family. Even my 2yo manages it! There are a few stairs and uneven pavement but the view is worth it! We've never left here without seeing dolphins and sometimes they even jump out of the water. In whale season it's another great spot.

15mins drive north, this is an easy walk for the entire family. Even my 2yo manages it! There are a few stairs and uneven pavement but the view is worth it! We've never left here without seeing dolphins and sometimes they even jump out of the water. In whale season it's another great spot.
The original beach town is not to be missed! Wander the main street and shops, play some ping pong on the outdoor tables (BYO balls and racquets), have a swim at the patrolled beach or at the creek, walk the promenade, take the kids to Faulks park. A day well spent!

By far our favorite swimming spot! Don't let the word creek fool you, this spot is up there with the best! You could happily spend every day here and never be sick of it. Perfect for the kids and near the bridge you can hire SUPS/Kayaks. Southside near the carpark is the hidden place to be.

Another amazing creek spot and perfect for the kiddies. Time it for when the tide is on the way, grab your rubber ring and float through the creek dreaming the day away! Still a great spot at other times as well.

A little 'village' down the road! Salt is worth a visit, there's an array of restaurants, a park, playground, bakery, fish & chips, pub, and boutique shops. Favorite restaurants are Fins, La Barrita & Mashuri Thai. The pub (Salt Bistro) has an great indoor playground for the little ones. It's 2 km north from the house but can be biked in 7 mins or walked in 20mins.
