The Warsaw Rising Museum was opened on the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of fighting in Warsaw. The Museum is a tribute of Warsaw’s residents to those who fought and died for independent Poland and its free capital.
The exhibition depicts fighting and everyday life during the Rising, keeping occupation terror in the background.

"Ogród Saski" in Warsaw is a beautiful green area in the center of the capital, located near Krakowskie Przedmieście. It is a preserved element of the baroque Saxon Axis. It used to be a royal garden. Currently, the much truncated Saxon Garden covers an area of 15.5 ha, but still attracts many walkers, especially during concerts of military orchestras and ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
