My wife and I love to visit Summit county and here are a few of the restaurants/breweries we head to. One that is not on here is the Black Bear lodge at the top of Arapahoe Basin. (ski or lift pass required)
This is a great restaurant with great brews and food, my wife and I have been going here for years for lunch/dinner and also after skiing. Plan ahead as they are usually quite busy!

Hiking
Summit county has MANY hiking trails and mountains, most of them can be found on Alltrails.com. For out guidebook we'll focus on what's outside the door of the condo.
We love to hike around buffalo mountain as the terrain is beautiful and the mountain itself is challenging if you plan to summit. This network can be accessed via the trailhead or just across the street from our place. (no need to drive up to the trailhead)

This is a popular trail for hiking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
