Buses Are Easy
Take the 406 to go to the C -Train in about 15-20 minutes. Catch this bus on the west side of the Marriott.
The 302 takes you right downtown in about 50 minutes. Catch this one in front of the Hospital.

You have space in our fridge to keep your food and if you want to save some money there is Save-On-Foods which has great quality food. If you want to go even cheaper you can go to SuperStore but the quality is a little lower if you are picking up meat products.

Weather Changes Rapidly
It could be 30 degrees one minute and thunder and hail the next. Be prepared for anything. Summer is typically sunny and 20 degrees, winter cold and -5 to -40 with very little snow compared to Central or Eastern Canada. Spring and Fall are a mixed bag but I'm always ready for chilly nights and hail storms.
