Babbacombe Beach
Beach RoadOne of our Mum's favourite places to walk! Beautiful sea vista's and an old fashioned cable car which can transport you up and down to/from the beach.
It's a very popular beach and noted for its Breccia cliffs.
The beach itself has a cafe, beach hut and deckchair hire, beach shop, motor boat/pedalo & kayak hire and pretty much everything you need.
There are lots of beautiful walks either down by the sea or up on the picturesque promenade.

The food is wonderful and imaginative. You can get a yummy cooked breakfast at any time of day. Tasty cakes, great coffee and friendly, helpful and attentive staff.
You can sit inside where its cosy or sit outside to enjoy the South Devon sun

This has always been a favourite place for our Auntie Beryl! It's one of the West Country's top fish and chippies, very popular with the locals (and our Auntie Beryl!).
It's a cosy plaice (ahem), bustling with busy, friendly and helpful staff.
As well as top notch fish, they make seafood chowder and don't scrimp on the puddings.....yummy ginger sponge pudding and fudge brownies no less!
There's also a take away next door if you want to wander over to the promenade and eat overlooking the beautiful bay.
