This may be my favorite hike in Pacifica. Uncrowded with beautiful views of the sea, ridges, cliffs, and hills. Moderate level hike that takes about 1.5 hours round trip from the north Devil's Slide parking lot.

Breathtaking views of the coast from a cliff side trail that is fully paved (it used to be part of the highway). Easy hike with some slight incline at the north end. Pit toilets available in the parking lots. On weekends, go early as the parking lots will get full! Great for bird watching.

Beware: many car smash and grabs occur here -- do not leave anything visible in your car or allow anyone to see you transferring items to your trunk in the parking lot!
Sutro bath ruins, views of the Golden Gate Bridge, and so much more! This is in San Francisco and is the farthest recommendation I have for hiking trails. Get here early on weekend mornings to find parking and avoid heavy crowds. Beware: many car smash and grabs occur here -- do not leave anything visible in your car or allow anyone to see you transferring items to your trunk in the parking lot! Note: sadly, the labyrinth is no longer there due to repeated vandalism (in the form of people just throwing the rocks into the sea!). After several repeated attempts by volunteers over the years to recreate the labyrinth, it has now been replaced with a heart shape.
