One of Melbourne's best coffee roasteries, Veneziano has recently expanded to incorporate an on-site cafe. Great coffee (duh) and fantastic food, just a 5-min walk away from the apartment. Also just across the road from The Royston Hotel (a legendary old-school pub).

I wouldn't make a whole day of it, but if the weather is good and you like a walk, it's about 30mins around the Yarra and they've great cafes and restaurants.
