This is one of the most popular tourist tours to do. The iconic Irish drinks brand ends its tour of the facilities with a free glass in its rooftop bar overlooking the city. If it was good enough for the Queen to visit....... :-)

Shopping
Henry street is home to Arnotts department store which has a wide selection of top fashion and homeware brands, Debenhams, The Jervis Shopping centre and of course "Penneys" ( Primark in the UK) the heart of cheap, fun disposable fashion.
The Luas ( tram) goes directly from nearby our house to just behind Henry street ( one short block away), the Jervis stop.
The well known local vegetable market on Moore Street is close by too if you're looking for some real local Dublin interaction!

This is a great spot. Always lively and friendly with good music. The initial entrance looks quite traditional but then you go down a few steps into more of an impromptu dance area and there is an outdoor area with a blue bus serving pretty good pizza. A good place to go to meet people and have fun! It is towards the very end of a street known for it's good bars in Dublin that locals frequent which is Camden Street/Wexford Street area.

Howth is a seaside fishing village with lots of nice restaurants to hand. It also has a lovely walk right around the cliffs which really feels like the wilds of nature. It may not be advisable to bring small children on these walks as the trails are narrow and close to the edge without any barrier.

When it is too windy on Dollymount beach in Clontarf ( you'll know by the number of kite surfers on the water), you can head a little further along the coast road in the direction of Howth but take a left at Sutton Cross and go to Burrow beach. It is a little hidden but it's worth it and more sheltered.
