Breathtaking views for the everyone!
Watch colorful birds, migrating whales and sea lions all year round at this fantastic nature reserve, which is perfect for walking, hiking, bird watching, and trails exploring. Don’t leave your camera behind and having a good pair of binoculars is not a bad idea. Point Lobos (Wolf Point in English) was made famous by the iconic images of the great Edward Weston.
And like all nature parks around the world, be very careful and do not leave any valuables inside a car.
Vehicle entrance fees is $10 to drive into this state park, $9 for seniors 62 and over. Arrive early for during peak hours parking is limited or if someone prefers and loves to walk they can park outside for free and hike in.
At the kiosk entrance volunteer guides will answer questions and also sell paper map for $2. There are 2 outhouses at the entrance of the parking lot and also 2 bathrooms with real flushing toilets behind the kiosk.

As a family we have been to many aquariums around the world and this is one of the best. It is located in Cannery Row at the ocean edge and visitors will have a front row sea view of a large diverse marine life. A wonderful place for the whole family and for older folks as well. A beautiful reminder of the legacy of the great Jacques Cousteau.
After a visit to the aquarium take a stroll around Cannery Row which was made famous by the Nobel Prize Laureate John Steinbeck who was born near by in the town of Salinas.
