If you're into arts and crafts, this is the place to go. From sculpture to architecture, fashion to furniture, tapestries and ceramics, there's something for everyone. The courtyard is great for hanging out in summer and the café itself is a work of art.

Parks

Like being in the countryside in the middle of London. The 7-mile Tamsin Trail is great for walks, jogging or cycling. Be sure to stop for refreshments at Pembroke Lodge and admire the view. You can also cut across the park for a picnic by the ponds; fly a kite, plane or drone; play rugby; walk among the deer or just bask in the sun in summer.

Walks

Starting point for the annual Boat Race (since 1927) event between crews from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, the Putney embankment is a great starting point for a walk along the River Thames to Hammersmith Bridge, Kew Gardens, Richmond and even to Hampton Court.
