This is literally on the doorstep...no car required as you can take a lovely stroll down to Greenway the former holiday home of Agatha Christie's now ran by the National Trust.
From here you can walk further on to Greenway Quay and get the quaint little boat over to Dittersham...where The Ferry Boat Inn and Anchor Stone do amazing food along with stunning views of the River Dart.
At the quay you can also board The Greenway Ferry for a river cruise down to Dartmouth.
