Fair Head or Benmore (from the Irish 'an Bhinn Mhór') is a rocky headland in the north-east of County Antrim, on the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. Known as Northern Ireland’s tallest cliff face, the impressive Fair Head rises 600 feet above sea level and lies about 3 miles from the town of Ballycastle. Highly regarded as an outstanding rock-climbing location, it is believed to be the biggest expanse of climbable rock in Britain or Ireland, but it is not for the faint-hearted. Forms the back drop "Dragonstone Cliffs" from "The Game of Thrones" TV series.

Rathin Island ferry leaves from the sea front on a regular service for foot passengers mainly. The reward of seeing the dolphins swimming alongside the ferry as it travels the short distance across is matched only by the seals and puffin colony you will find on Rathlin Island itself. This truly is a treat for nature lovers and ramblers or anyone wanting a relaxing retreat for a few hours during their trip.

Bonamargy Friary was built close to the mouth of the Carey and Shesk rivers by Rory MacQuillan in 1500. The rival MacDonnell clan fought for and claimed the friary from the MacQuillans in 1588. The cloister, gatehouse, altar and church are well preserved except for the thatch roof. There are many interesting features including the east window, a staircase and a sealed burial vault. The coffins of several Earls of Ulster and chieftain, Sorley Boy MacDonnell, lie within.
