The Cuban art center is organized in eight thematic areas, where Cuban Art is exhibited in more than 1200 paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings that offer the most complete panorama of national art, from the first visions of travelers in the 16th and 17th centuries to the work of contemporary creators.
The Universal Art center exhibits works of the traditional European schools of Germany, Flanders, Holland, Italy, Spain, France and Great Britain. A collection of Art of Antiquity composed of 666 pieces from Asia, Egypt, Greece, Etruria and Rome. Works by important Spanish painters of the 19th century, English portraits of the 18th and 19th centuries, and collections of ancient classical art with sculptural pieces from Rome, Egypt and Greece are some of the most important samples.

This restaurant sits just on the edge of Old Havana. Hemingway frequented this place when he lived in Havana. He used to order daiquiris here – that was his favorite drink. The restaurant is very popular with tourists and they make daiquiris in batches, right in front of your eyes! Daiquiris cost 6 CUC. There is a big statue of Hemingway inside the restaurant.
