The Famous Opera House, another wonderful must-see tourist attraction in Oslo. Located downtown, it's only a short walk away.
Built almost entirely by massive Italian white marble, it's beautiful on both inside and outside. The building's design allows people to walk straight up on the roof, which I can highly recommend for a fantastic view of the downtown city and of the Oslo Fjord stretching all the way to the horizon :)

Oslo Opera House
The Famous Opera House, another wonderful must-see tourist attraction in Oslo. Located downtown, it's only a short walk away.
Built almost entirely by massive Italian white marble, it's beautiful on both inside and outside. The building's design allows people to walk straight up on the roof, which I can highly recommend for a fantastic view of the downtown city and of the Oslo Fjord stretching all the way to the horizon :)

Winter Activities / Sightseeing
A beautiful place to go if you have the time. Oslo Winterpark is situated in the Holmenkollen area. Year round, this area has one of the best panoramic views of Oslo and the Fjords. Holmenkollen or Oslo Winterpark also represent another unique aspect of Oslo, namely the closeness to the slopes. The Norwegian people are a snow-loving people. During the Winter, Oslo Winterpark is a fun and popular place to go for Skiing and Snowboarding the many slopes of varying difficulty. Only 30-50 minutes away by train or car, skiis and snowboards are available for rent. Many professional bikers also cycle up the Holmenkollen mountain for a challenging workout with a breathtaking view at the top :)

TusenFryd Amusement Park, Norways largest amusement park has more than 30+ rollercoasters and a really nice waterpark. During the summer months, this is definitely a top spot for families and for adult adrenaline lovers.
The park is about 30-minute away by car or by bus from Oslo Central Station. If you go by car, there is a massive parking just outside the park. Well-worth a visit for fun-lovers! :)
