Dry Bridge is an extraordinary flea market in the center of Tbilisi, perfect for lovers of old and antique things. There is a huge assortment of antiques, jewelry, old books, maps, pins, badges, kitchenware, and other small items on sale. Some items are local, some are Soviet, and some are from further abroad. The name of the market comes from the fact that the bridge that it is held on used to run over the river, but now is over a road.

Night out

Once a soviet sewing factory, that has been revived and transformed into a multi-functional urban space. Lost and forgotten in the historical part of Tbilisi, the former soviet sewing factory “Nino” is now the urban hotspot, for locals and travelers alike. With its striking “old-meets-new” attitude, the place oozes genuinely cool vibes blended with funky industrial elements.

Babare stands for Barbare Jorjadze - a legendary Georgian chef and the author of the first extensive book about Georgian cuisine from the 19th century. The restaurant has revisited this cook book and now allows both visitors and Georgians alike to rediscover forgotten treasures of the country’s heritage: the pumpkin patties and cherry soup with mint are our favourites. One word of warning: the restaurant doesn’t serve any beer, but does offer a wonderful selection of kvevri wines, fitting given that the basement is an original 19th century wine cellar.
