Transportation

Transportation (private, public and shared) To better enjoy Koh Chang island, a scooter is highly recommended; roads here are steep and narrow. Should you not be familiar with scooter riding I suggest renting a car or the use of taxis.

Ferry pier on the mainland. Ferries depart roughly every 45 minutes. However, this varies and there is no written schedule or timetable. At busy times the ferries run continuously. Trat Lufthavn

Flight from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to TRAT (TDX). Bangkok Airways operate 4 flights a day and the flight time is only 60 min. Trat Airport is on the mainland and a shared minivan connect the airport to Koh Chang. The minivan will go on the ferry to Koh Chang and will stop on the main road next to Lisca Beach sign. Expect to pay 550THB per person
