My all time favorite place to be during the hot Redding summers. Whiskey town has so much to offer. You can find yourself a quiet spot to hang a hammock, or head over to brandy creek beach and enjoy some Bbq's. Want something more adventurous, make your way towards crystal creek falls.

If you've ever seen a postcard from Redding, it most likely had the sundial bridge on it. One of the worlds largest functioning sundials, this bridge leads you right along the Sacramento River where you'll often find people fly fishing, towards a beautiful botanical garden or some amazing hiking trails. While your there, check out the Turtle Bay museum with its vast history on the bridge, Shasta Lake, and many other exciting pieces of California history and wildlife. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop for some amazing souvenirs!

If your wanting a true Shasta Lake experience, I highly suggest you rent a boat and explore this beautiful body of water. Wether your into fishing, or just want some fun in the sun, this lake is the place for you!

With very little effort you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Redding that just so happens to be only 9 minutes from where you are staying! Crazy! This very easy trail is perfect for family! I highly suggest going during sunset as it just enhances the experience so much!

Food scene
The iconic in-&-out! The burger of California, one of my all time favorite burgers around. Fair warning, there is so much hype and talk about in-&-out and because of this many peoples expectations are so high! Is it the best burger ever? Probably not (some hard core fans would so disagree haha). Is it affordable, flavorful, and blows most every other fast food burger through the roof? Absolutely.

With amazing staff and even better food, there's not one thing that we've had here that wasn't worth the drive! If those tater tots and ciniminbunss are calling out to you, just do yourself a favor and order em.

With amazing staff and even better food, there's not one thing that we've had here that wasn't worth the drive! If those tater tots and ciniminbunss are calling out to you, just do yourself a favor and order em.

The new owners are adding their twist to the classic chicken and waffles. Walking distance from our home, there's no excuse not to go!
