Evergreen is a nature lover's paradise and we want to share some of our very favorite spots with you!
Great spot to see wildlife, cool rocky outcroppings to climb, with many hiking and biking options from easy to challenging. Busy during the day (especially weekends!), the park is empty in the evening, when you have the best chances of seeing deer, elk, and fox. There is a lower lot in the forest, and an upper lot in a large meadow. Deer and elk gather in the upper meadow as the sun sets.

Very scenic drive to the start of the Mount Evans Autoroad. There is an easy hiking loop around the lake with access to some of Colorado's tallest mountains. Hiking access may only be possible in late summer and early fall due to a deep snowpack left over from winter.
