Coming from a farming family in the North of France for several centuries, Matthieu De Wulf settled in the Landes in 1992 in a large culture where Gwenaëlle (Chemical Engineer in Paris) joined him. "From 2000, we looked for a wine estate to realize a dream: to produce our wine. " While visiting the estate of Jas d'Esclans on September 11, 2001, we were immediately seduced. There was something more in this place than the seventy-two properties previously visited did not have. A breathtaking landscape, a climate blessed by the Gods, a magnificent terroir, vineyards in perfect condition, superb wines, and a team in place, proud of the work they did over the seasons. We thus became owners of the Jas d'Esclans on July 24, 2002. Since this date when we have settled with our four children at the Domaine, the enchantment is renewed for us daily. What a pleasure to do the job we like in such an incredible setting with a motivated and efficient team. In 2010, we had the opportunity to acquire the Château de Vaucouleurs and a new challenge was offered to us. Come and give an account of yourself for the soul of these places that are dear to us. We will welcome you with pleasure and will make you discover the wines that we produce with passion.

This is probably modesty, but when I talk about my way of making wine, it is by the technical side that I approach the thing. And I'm talking about the care taken in crushing the harvest; And I still mention the skin maceration, the malolactic fermentation and the barrel batonnage ... But it's me who deserves the blows of stick! Because in truth, the month of September come, I browse the vineyards of Cabran as my ancestors before me, looking for signs that tell me it's time to harvest. I rejoice when the vines are loaded with bunches abundant, I am sorry to see the damage caused by wild boars. I'm hopeful and I'm a little scared. We will always do the following: picking oak twigs and making a fagot, or barreling the barrels - and we'll make new ones - adjusting the temperature of the cold group that watches over the fermentation of the rosés. Far from the pH figures and temperature curves, it is with his sensitivity and the idea of the wine he wants to produce that the winemaker announces, at the hour H: "go, it's time, we decouvve ! » . After a day spent harvesting, it's a great night's work that starts ... Renaud De Saint-Seine Winegrower, Château de Cabran

Chateau Reva
2438 Rte de Bagnols
CHÂTEAU SAINTE ROSELINE: AN HISTORICAL PLACE IN PROVENCE Ideally located within a thirty-minute radius from the Bay of Saint-Tropez, the Cannes Croisette, the Gorges du Verdon and Aix-en-Provence, Château Sainte Roseline’s one thousand year-old terroir is a haven where ancient and contemporary art thrive in harmony with the art of vinification. It all began around a generous water source – and we know, through the novels of Giono and Pagnol, the importance of water in Provence; its presence led a hermit named ROUBAUD to retire here in the middle of the tenth century. In 1994, Bernard Teillaud took the future of this wonderful estate into his hands with the intention to make it one of the gems of southern viticulture while turning it into an artistic destination. The abbey was completely renovated under the leadership of architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who was able to preserve its nobility. Bernard Teillaud asked him to redesign the interior of the Château without altering its historical features. In 2007, Aurélie Bertin Teillaud (Bernard’s daughter) took over management of this beautiful estate, intent on investing as much as possible into the pursuit of quality and the search for a distinctive yet genuine personality for each of the vineyard’s wines. Being immersed in culture (both of the mind and of the soil), this exceptional place inspires meditation and contemplation, and is an invitation to taste and conviviality around a highly refined palette of Côtes de Provence reds, rosés and whites.
