Grocery stores
There are two conveniently located grocery stores. Safeway is at the corner of 8th Avenue and McBride Blvd. and is approximately a 10-minute walk. Save-on-Foods is very close to the Sapperton Skytrain station is approximately at 20-minute walk. Both are large stores with a full selection of fruit, vegtables, dairy, meat and other products.

Directions: from the suite, go to East Durham Street, turn right towards Cumberland Street and then turn right onto Cumberland (head up the hill). At the traffic light cross to your left, heading down the hill on 8th Avenue and you will see Safeway at the first major intersection.
