Tanya's home is located in Culver City, California, United States.
My place is great because it is centrally located and very close to all freeways and to downtown Culver City which has great restaurants, movie theater, bars, etc. It is a 15 min drive to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and South Bay Beaches (Hermosa, Manhattan, Redondo).

There is public transportation (bus & metro and easy freeway access.

Culver City
The metro line goes west to Santa Monica and East toward downtown Los Angeles is about a 5 minute Uber ride.

There’s so much to do in Venice, it’s the kind of place where you’ll hop off your bike a lot. And it is really best visited by bike. I like to start by grabbing Gjelina’s takeout pizza, riding along Abbott Kinney and into the neighborhoods. Then I hop into beach path to people watch and see skaters shred the bowl. Wind down your biking day in Venice back at the beach. On weekend afternoon and evenings, you’ll hear drumming. Follow the sound, and at the end of Brooks Avenue, you’ll see dozens of strangers beating on drums, pots, pans, whatever—and dancing on the beach. It’s super communal, and anyone can join in.

The park's theme is the entertainment industry, in particular movies and television. Includes rides related to Harry Potter, Despicable Me, The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, Simpsons and more. The best thing at the park in my opinion is the tram where you get to see movie lots where things were filmed.

Griffith Observatory is sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in L.A.'s Griffith Park. The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an extensive array of space and science-related displays.

The Getty Villa houses all the antiquities in the Getty collection. The grounds are absolutely stunning, as are the views of the Pacific Ocean. Need reservations in advance though, so plan ahead!

Take the Temescal Canyon Trail in Temescal Gateway park and you'll come to a bridge over a small seasonal waterfall. Then it takes you up into Topanga State Park to the Temescal Ridge Trail, which is where the big views are. There are a couple different trail combinations you can take so bring a map.

If you park near the entrance off North Fuller Ave. and start walking towards the trail, you’ll see an abundance of art on the ground, walls, and sidewalk. It’s a high-traffic area, so the art on display is always getting updated. Take the hour to trek to the top for breathtaking views. In my opinion, the best art in LA is the landscape of the city as seen from atop these hills.

If you park near the entrance off North Fuller Ave. and start walking towards the trail, you’ll see an abundance of art on the ground, walls, and sidewalk. It’s a high-traffic area, so the art on display is always getting updated. Take the hour to trek to the top for breathtaking views. In my opinion, the best art in LA is the landscape of the city as seen from atop these hills.
