This is as close as I could get the maker for the Medina Falls which are seen by walking over the bridge and down to the Heritage Trail. The Oak Orchard River actually runs under the Erie Canal here.

Easy Kayak and small boat launch, fishing, locals swim here, this was made by backing up Oak Orchard River for HydoPower, drop in here a paddle up to the Medina Falls.

This is a 15 minute drive from my house in the wetlands of the Iroquois Wildlife Area. This is not really a hiking trail ..but a boardwalk and gravel Loop of a little over 1 mile... Very easy going and fun to take kids, mostly birds, some small animals, neat quick habitat transitions.
