Boat launch for only like 8 dollars, park is beautiful and features one of the the oldest building related to the original settlement of the Wethersfield colony around 1649. This park is walkable from downtown Old Wethersfield. Great place to picnic.

The Wadsworth Atheneum opened in 1844 is is the oldest continuously operated public art museum in the United States. It is also on the National Registry of Historic Places. We sometimes go for after hour events here. Worth a visit if you have the time and need an indoor activity.
