Not as busy as Oneroa and not afar drive from the house, this beautiful 2km long beach is the perfect spot for swimming and lying on the sand. Make sure you pop into Charlie Farley’s for a beer or coffee while you are there too.

Whakanewha Regional Park
75 Gordons Rdscape the house via eves track and visit this park on the western side of Waiheke Island. Whakanewha offers sheltered swimming on a long, sweeping beach with a panoramic bush clad backdrop. You can also enjoy camping and picnic sites on the foreshore. Approx. 30minute walk.
You can walk to Rocky Bay also known as Omiha is the end of the line for the Number 2 bus.This small village set around a beautiful southern bay is the home to many artists and craft people.
Boat owners also love this secluded part of the island. Close by there are tennis courts, children's playground and public toilets.
The beach is just as the name suggests very rocky but a lovely spot to visit after going to the weekend cafe.You can also walk around the rocks at the very far left of the beach all the way back to the bottom of Whakanewha Regional Park and back up Eve’s track to the house.

You can walk to Rocky Bay also known as Omiha is the end of the line for the Number 2 bus.This small village set around a beautiful southern bay is the home to many artists and craft people.
Boat owners also love this secluded part of the island. Close by there are tennis courts, children's playground and public toilets.
