Elevations in the park rise to 3,000 feet along the western boundary at the base of the McDowell Mountains. Visitors enjoy a full program schedule, over 50 miles of multi-use trails, and spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges. A stroll through the park will allow visitors to likely see deer, javelina, birds, and coyotes. There is a $6/car entrance fee.

Awesome 180 degree views of the cities of Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Camelback Mountain, you can even see Phoenix in the distance. This is a trail that is located minutes from Fountain Hills off of Via Linda. This is a difficult trail but worth the effort. It is a 4 1/2 mile round trip and rises 1,000 feet above the surrounding area. Gorgeous and breathtaking views! No entrance Fee
