Food Scene
Local’s is right around the block from the house. No need to drive, you can be there by foot in under a minute. Just walk out the door, turn right at the side walk, turn right at the end of the street and it is straight ahead. It has a lovely roof top seating area open during the warmer times of year. They serve delicious sliders, craft cocktails, and have delicious dinner specials. Just recently, they have begun having brunch on the weekends.

It often times sells out and closes before the actual listed closing hour so get your BBQ fast and eat in!

Mirror Twin Brewery is just a short walk away from the house as well. It is right down the street from Local’s Restaurant. Here, you can drink a tasty craft beer and eat a delicious wood-fired pizza or Italian sandwich all in the same place. Mirror Twin has plenty of TV’s for sporting events and is kid friendly with high chairs and changing tables available. Water and soda are served as well. (There is a Mirror Twin Growler in the kitchen cupboard you are welcome to take to the Brewery if you want to return home with your favorite beer. Just make sure to leave it at the house upon your check out.)

I’ve not done this yet, but I can’t wait to try it! According to their website, Break Out Games offers escape games. Escape games are real life adventures where you and your fellow players have an hour to break out of a room by cracking codes, solving riddles, piecing together puzzles and finding clues. The game originated in Japan and is based off escape the room video games created by Toshimitsu Takagi in 2005.
