The best food in town. This place is a hidden gem. Try the Curro Chicken. It looks like an old crappy gas station, but once inside you'll quickly find how awesome this place is. To get there walk to Green Lake Park to the walking path and turn right (counter clockwise) walk for about 5 minutes until you see the cross walk for Aurora Ave). Hit the button and it will stop the traffic. Turn left and walk another 3-4 minutes and Bongos is on your right.

Great scenery. This is a very nice restaurant and also expensive. Food is fantastic. Service is great. I would recommend making a reservation. You get a nice view of the water from just about every table.

Play 9 holes of golf on Seattle's best par 3 golf course for as little as $8. You only need two clubs, and they rent them for a couple bucks. Very laid back scene with huge evergreen trees surrounding you. About a 15 minute walk from the house (counter clockwise on the walking path).

Awesome park! 2.8 miles all the way around it. Use the inside lanes to walk (either direction), always avoid the outside lanes (those are for bikes/wheels.) If you are on wheels, you can only travel around the lake in a counter clockwise direction.

One of our favorite hikes in the Cascades. You'll need a discover pass for the parking lot. But you can easily buy one online. It's a difficult uphill takes about 4-5 hours.
