Food Scene

The food is awesome, with much effort going into the presentation of the drinks. The staff is great, and the atmosphere warm. Limited seats fill up quickly however, so don't delay!

Although a bit on the pricier side (relative to other sushi offerings in Kingston), the premium is well justified when one tastes Sima's offerings (the Red Dragon is especially good) as well as the atmosphere, where the servers and chefs are dressed in traditional Japanese attire and an exposed brick wall lends the restaurant a cozy feel. The staff works fast and yet are very attentive, quick to refill cups of tea and water.

Drinks & Nightlife

The mansion's nightly live music acts are a popular draw on most nights, who come for the reasonably priced pitchers and stay for the local talent. Unlike many of the other nightclubs and bars on this stretch of Princess, the crowd isn't a hotspot for Toronto transplants, but rather a good mix of locals and students.
