The baker is excellent.....they serve good food, locally sourced and they are good people. They also own and operate The Annex, and TinderBox. All EXCELLENT.

Caleb make the best pizza in town. He's been baking pizzas forever and then he traveled by bicycle all over Italy learning more and gaining more momentum, and opened pizzicletta (for his two loves = bicycling and pizza) with a brick oven made in Italy. He imports his flour from Italy. I've heard even gluten intolerant people can eat his food because he sources only the best ingredients. Plus, he serves Gelato. And, his pizza combos are truly delicious....trust him and eat there.
As a bonus, you can sit at Mother Road Brewery and order his food. And you can bring your dogs to Mother Road if you eat outside.

Mountain views, fresh air, good varied terrain and microbiomes. Adventurous by foot and bike. The trail starts at the trail head, take a left as you are facing south, head up past schultz tank, and start heading up the switchbacks to the top. Don't forget to look behind you at the mountain. Head over the ridge and don't take the left fork -- stay right. Head through a couple different forests and then stay right at another fork, down a very crazy steep section toward dry lake hills, take a right when you get to the bottom of that hill and skirt the meadow. Head into the treed area and walk down a now widened road (due to forest thinning), all the way back to the trailhead. 6.2 mile loop.

Excellent views, steep climb to the towers. Really cool Alligator Juniper, boulders, cacti, evergreens...nice varied terrain, but a real heartache climb. Use caution if you have a heart condition. It's a very popular trail so if you want more solitude go EARLY.
