Fresyo is a smoothie place located on Xuan Thuy street in Thao Dien, the decor is very hipster and the space is very inviting. Many people come here for protein shakes or healthy smoothies after a long day at work or a session at the gym. The juices are reasonably priced and they have many options on their menu to cater to your needs.

Snap Cafe is a restaurant/cafe hybrid that is very popular among the expat community. They serve things from ice cream, to quesadillas, to pizza, to beer. It is very family friendly but also a great place to wind down with your friends.

Its a cute and vibrant little coffee shop on the corner of Thao Dien and Xuan Thuy street. The coffee is relatively cheap but the quality is good. It is a nice place to sit and work or observe the community.

You receive a complimentary of Prosecco, bread, oil, olive tapenade and baked garlic on arrival allowing you enough time peruse the menu properly. At the end of the meal you were given a complimentary limoncello whilst finished the evening perfectly. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I preferred sitting downstairs as upstairs it was quite loud but it was air conditioned so nice and cool. I would go again!

Envy is a fairly new nightclub in the heart of District 1. The layout is open and the music gets everyone in the mood. The staff are attentive and nice and there are performances on special occasions such as trapeze performers!

We've come here since it opened and enjoyed our casual meet-up and catch-up ever since. The menu was created by one man who's really passionate about making cocktails so no doubt about the quality and sophistication of the drinks. The bar is a bit dark and there are a few private sections too. You could easily pick any good drinks.

There are helicopters, jets, guns and tanks to look at outside as well as prison cells and torture devices. Inside there are a lot of displays about the atrocities that happened during the Vietnam War including the effects of Agent Orange on the local population. It is a very disturbing account of the effects of warfare.
I think everyone should visit this museum if you are in Ho Chi Minh City. It makes you think more about the consequences of war.

This is a great place to shop in Saigon for cheap, reasonable quality clothes etc. They don’t really get in your face and will negotiate. There’s plenty to choose from. If you can't cope with crowds and narrow walkways then this is not the place for you.
If you enjoy a bit of market type shopping then you will like this place. The aircon is welcomed and so is bargaining.
It's nice to look around and it's quieter in the morning. They have tons of sports related clothing like Under Armour, Nike and Adidas. There's also handbag shops, the kid's clothing shops and everything else in between, like watch shops and phone accessories.
