Abbey Rose Restaurant has been voted No1 on TripAdvisor for 7 years in a row and is known for its delicious home-style food and warm welcoming atmosphere. The venue is the perfect choice for a smaller intimate, micro wedding. There is a beautiful little chapel in Abbey Rose’s country garden makes it ideal for smaller, intimate wedding ceremonies. Abbey Rose will offer your guests canapé’s and sparkling wine while you have your photographs taken around the picturesque town. The restaurant has a separate section at the back which opens fully onto the garden for the wedding ceremony and can easily be styled to fit your wedding theme.

Greyton has a wealth of talented artists and crafters who display their diverse work each week without fail. The market is run by volunteers from the Greyton Conservation Society, each stallholder donating 10% of his or her takings to this worthy cause weekly.

Mountain biking is a very popular sport in the village – 150 km of biking trails have been laid out Our Festivals are iconic. During the last weekend of October the annual Rose Fair takes place, when the morning market is expanded to more than 200 stalls, music fills the air, and nature brings a song to your heart, with the whole of Greyton bursting into flower and greenery in this most beautiful month of the Cape year.
