Love this paved trail around our city. It can be walked or bike ridden, skateboarded, cross country skied in the winter. Only non motorized vehicles allowed with is great for some peace and quiet. Lots of signage for all the historic mining sights to see along the way. Clockwise is the least strenuous direction to travel!

Mineral Belt Trail
Love this paved trail around our city. It can be walked or bike ridden, skateboarded, cross country skied in the winter. Only non motorized vehicles allowed with is great for some peace and quiet. Lots of signage for all the historic mining sights to see along the way. Clockwise is the least strenuous direction to travel!
This a a beautiful drive and tops out with a big parking area and short walk on paved sidewalks to some fantastic views.

Do a 14er while your here...make sure you are acclimated and doing ok with the elevation. Always hike a 14er with the mentality that you will get as far as you can and enjoy the views. If you do make it to the top well that's a bonus!
Strenuous but an amazing experience. Requires an early start and a good forecast.
