Drinks & Nightlife
Award-winning local brews, from Kicksled Cream Ale to our favourites, Bug Repellant IPA and Sundog IPA. Walk over for dinner and stay for drinks at this Yellowknife favourite! I personally love the beet salad and the Shack Burger, but Wednesday pizza night is also hard to pass up. Excellent desserts - ask your server for the menu. There may be a lineup during peak hours. Growlers available, as well as great clothing and other swag.

Yellowknife's classic Scottish pub, and a favourite for years. The food is always great (wings on Wednesdays if you have a craving!), and it has everything you want in a pub. Excellent Saturday brunch. Come see why the "BK" is one of Yellowknife's favourite establishments.

Worth the hype. A favourite among tourists, this tiny restaurant serves up the best fish in Yellowknife with a side of sass. $30-40 and worth it. You will need to stop by early to put your name down for a reservation.

Authentic and exceptional Ethiopian food. A definite Yellowknife gem. Try either of the platters (vegetarian or meat) for a great tasting option. Generous servings with good prices (the $20 platter can easily be shared for two). I recommend take-out or delivery, for a cozy feast at home! 867-873-6400

A favourite among Yellowknifers and visitors. Extremely welcoming and cozy; come grab a coffee to go, or sit with a book or laptop for hours. Try Jeremy's scones (and any of the baked goods, really!). Also a great place for a sandwich, soup, or curry dinner (closes at 7, take-out available).
