Best kebabs, mostly because their bread is so good. Made fresh every day and cooked right in front of you. Open late and perfect on the walk home from a night out.

Great choice of seafood and some really well put together dishes. I crave the crab mac and cheese, but their other dishes are delicious as well.

Excellent Brazilian snack shop. Pastels are large puff pastries envelopes filled with cheese, meat and more and deep fried. Coxinhas are filled with chicken and great for snacks, they have them ready and are just a couple of euro to pick up.

Dublin's favourite Mexican burrito restaurant. The first place to kick burritos off in a big way in Dublin with their whopper sized burritos that are hard to finish in a sitting and the option of a burrito bowl to make saving leftovers even easier.

Firstly this restaurant is downstairs and around the corner. They are one of the only places in the city to do proper Chinese roast duck and they also do excellent Dim Sum (Chinese brunch). The menu may look a little strange if you aren't used to it, but the crucial dishes are all excellent. If you're new to Dim Sum I'd recommend the steamed bbq pork buns, custard buns, custard tarts, any of the dumpling like things, sticky rice in lotus leaf (filled with pork), glutinous rice dumplings, taro root dumplings, noodle rolls. Authentic selection and a nice treat.

Irish ingredients, female head chef, unreal combinations for all courses and a setting in an old pub to die for. This is not pub grub, but it has a class atmosphere. Would recommend. Also Stoneybatter is nice

One of the first hipster cafes in Stoneybatter. This is a lovely little cafe that always has new cakes and menus. Teeny tiny with amazing brunch and the option of an afternoon snack. There's no need to cross the river to the south side these days...

This food market starts early Saturday mornings and you'd be amazed to see how many city goers flock for organic veg from McNally's before heading off to brunch. It's a food market so pick up olives, cheeses, fruit, veg, sausages, and treats.

Dubliners love brunch. Millennials love brunch. Two Boys Brew does excellent brunch. Need I say more. This is an up-and-coming area of Dublin, full of locals, but also full of fixies and coffee lovers. Worth a wander up the street for.

The local for Capel St. residents. This place is small and charming. There isn't that much room, especially when the musicians arrive on Friday nights for a session. Wonderful little place for a quiet drink or for just enjoying the music. Friday nights for a taste of Irish music without the insane prices of Temple Bar over the river.

Entertainment & Activities
Way more than just an arcade. This is one of the coolest places to go in Smithfield. They have all of the old arcade games, and you buy tokens to use them. Cheap to play and they have an excellent selection of drinks and some of the nicest bar food I've ever had. Burgers, hot dogs, wings all amazing. It gets busy pretty quickly though so if you want a table it's best to book.

Unique movie theatre in Dublin, shows the new stuff, but has runs of showing classics or does a run of showing movies from studios they like. A little more artsy of the studios, it makes sense that it belongs in Smithfield.

A short tour of the crypt is very cool. The graves and bodies have been preserved for centuries because of the cool and arid air underground. Good storytelling and a nice little bit of history all in one.
