Mount Evans is a very popular tourist attraction close to Evergreen. The drive to the top of the 14.000 ft peak is amazing. Be sure to layer clothing as it is very cold at the higher elevation.

Take a day drive south on Hwy 285 to Bailey and enjoy the amazing views. Perhaps take a tour through the Sasquatch Museum. Also great fishing spots are close by on the South Platte River.
